This indicator forms part of the Valtos Indicator Suite of indicators using order flow analytics algorithms developed by Mike Valtos of orderflows.com. It is designed for scalpers but is also being used by short term traders and looks for areas where there is a sudden shift in buying or selling activity. This is done by reading the order flow and what has been traded on the bid versus what was traded on the offer and highlights the spots where sellers have taken command of the market or buyers have taken control of the market. These are the spots where a big buyer or seller comes into the market and just dominates the trading. With a normal bar chart you would just see a normal up or down bar.

The indicator considers the relationship in volume and delta across sets of two and three adjacent chart bars. Assuming:
- A is the current chart bar
- B is the bar before it
- C is the bar before B
The maximum distance away from peak delta for bar B, i.e. how strongly did bar B close. This is a similar concept to Order Flow Snapshot Delta Strength.
If bar A delta opposes bar B delta, i.e. there is an inversion (‘Flip’) between dominant supply and demand between the two bars, this is the maximum distance away from peak delta for bar A, i.e. how strongly did bar A close.
The maximum opposing delta within bar B.
The maximum opposing delta within bar A.
The maximum distance away from peak delta for bar C, i.e. how strongly did bar C close.
If bar A delta opposes bar C delta, i.e. there is an inversion (‘Flip’) between dominant supply and demand between the two bars, this is the maximum distance away from peak delta for bar A, i.e. how strongly did bar A close.
The maximum opposing delta within bar C.
The maximum opposing delta within bar A.
